wordpress doesn’t update changes

  • hi

    I’m working on a new blog and have some issues, which i couldn’t find an answer so far.

    if i change settings, no matter what, (f.e. the sidebar widget) it does not update automaticaly on the page, not even after refresh. tried with opera and firefox, its not a browser issue.

    after updating a page or creating a new post, the changes will be displayed correctly on this particular page or post that has been updated, but the rest still shows the old setting.

    i’m despairing cause of this and cannot seem to find a solution after spending 2 days googling..

    aNY IDEAS???

    i also tried it on different themes, so its not a theme issue either.

    on the same server i have blogs without this problem that use the same version of wordpress (2.9.2)

    moreover i disabled all plugins, to try if its a problem with one of those, but without success

    no reaction so far, but i guess i’m using the correct forum for this, no?

    Were you running any caching plugins? Can you post a link to pages showing updated and non-updated versions?

    hey alism. as menitoned i disabled all plug ins to check.
    the only caching plugin i had installed was wp super cache but its not active atm

    thanks for the hint however. i’ve deleted the wp super cahce plugin from the server and the problem has gone

    Don’t just disable it, make sure you uninstall it properly. There should be an uninstall script on the settings page for that plugin.

    edit: see you’ve already removed it. ??
