WordPress DOESN'T read translation

    Sorry, but Your CodeStyling Localization Preserver doesn’t work properly.

    After update my theme, original .po and .mo files are deleted from the languages folder of theme. Yes, plugin preserves the files in wp-content/languages. But WordPress DOESN’T read translation from wp-content / languages. It just does not work. So I have to manually copy translations from wp-content / languages into languages folder of theme. What can I do to make it work automatically and I do not have to do it manually?

    Hi David,

    Thanks so much for your input. Could you please tell me which theme you are using? Can you confirm whether or not the translations are stored inside the theme’s language folder when the Codestyling Localization Preserver is turned off?

    Hi Steve,

    I am using OptimizePress Theme.Yes, after I turned off the Codestyling Localization Preserver, the translations are still stored inside the theme’s language folder.
