• When I click to view details of a plugin before I install, wordpress show my website’s home page and not the plugin’s info. Is this a wp or a plugin problem? Thanks.

  • Does the problem happen with a specific plugin or all plugins. Try viewing details of other plugins. If it only happens with a specific plugin, then it would be useful if you could add the URL or name of the plugin here.

    Noumaan thanks for your reply

It only happens with wp 3.7 or 3.8. When I try wp 3.03 that I use in other sites everything is normal. The plugin is Wordfence.

I did try viewing details of other plugins, and some that are not updated to the latest, in case that was the issue, but they show up ok. This is very unusual.

    When I try wp 3.03

Delegating a WP install to conform to a plugin issue may not be your best bet. Use WP3.8 and include only compatible plugins.

This is unusual. If I were you I would backup all my data and then do a full new install of WordPress.

Thanks Noumaan, I know. I was trying to avoid that, but it looks like I have to.
