• Where can I find information on how much disk space is used by wordpress for various types of content (i.e. posts, pages, images, comments, etc). I’m trying to consider what blogging platform to use and would like to get a rough idea of how much space would be required for say 1000 word posts, posted once daily with 10 comments each.

I know disk space varies on how much content one enters, but are there any barometers on this?

Also my ISP only allows me 10x 100mb mySQL databases, NOT one large 1GB DB. Will this be an issue, and how does wordpress work with say 10dbs instead of 1 large one?

    THank you!

WP works with one DB at a time. However… in my case, I’m just shy of 1000 posts and a bit over 2200 comments and not quite 10MB DB size… 100MB will go a long way, I’d think.
