I installed Simple History to find user activity. Instead, I found that WordPress is deleting some of my posts.

I am the admin and I have one editor. I have some users with restricted access(no post deleting capability). None of us deleted those posts.

Could this be a malfunctioning plugin? any one of the users? hacked? or WordPress itself?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Found your update. Not sure how the new update is helping me. I don’t see any additional information.

    Can you help?

After updating the plugin, the next time a post is deleted during a cron job, can you click the time of the event to bring up the table with all the info. It should contain a new key called “_wp_cron_current_filter”. If it does, the value of that key _may_ contain some info about what cron job is causing the deletion.

    _wp_cron_current_filter: delete_post

but I guess, its CyberSyn or WPeMatico. I doubt CyberSyn…

these plugins have the option to delete duplicate posts. maybe they are malfunctioning and deleting non-duplicate posts…

I’ve been researching these two plugins a little bit as I’ve never used either one. Please disable the delete duplicate posts option in both and if the problem doesn’t persist then that is likely what is causing the deleted posts. Either way. I have tagged the plugins in the tags below so their developers could look into the matter.
