WordPress database errror??!

  • I get this message at the top of my blog, some people say they see it alone and see no content, I see it above the blog posts… Does anyone know why?

    Message:

    WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_bas_log.MYI’ (errno: 145)]
    INSERT INTO wp_bas_log (visit, stamp, outbound, page) VALUES (28421, ‘2006-12-28 12:45:58’, 0, 37);

  • errno: 145

    Anytime you see “errno:” you can safely assume that your server’s MySQL database is unhappy for one reason or another.

    The normal response would be to contact your host with that error and see if they can help.

    If you have something like phpMyAdmin installed, you might try a repair on the mentioned table.
