WordPress database error Unable to login to admin

  • In the error_log, this is constantly repeated:

    WordPress database error Table ‘xxxxxxxxxxxxxxnz_xxxx.xxxxx_WP_SEO_Redirection’ doesn’t exist for query select * from xxxxx_WP_SEO_Redirection where enabled=1 and regex=” and this has resulted in website.co.nz/wp-admin coming up with an HTTP ERROR 500, however website.co.nz/wp-login does work, but upon logging in and trying to access the dashboard it comes up with the same HTTP ERROR 500 page

  • The missing table probably comes from the plugin SEO Redirection. You could remove its plugin directory via FTP. Then the login should be possible again because without the plugin the table is not addressed. If you have further questions, please contact their support.
