    Hi,

I tried de/reactivating, deleteing, reinstalling, nothing seems to get rid of this error.

I did try the bulk optimize and it appeared to be doing something, so am unsure if this the plugin is actually working.

Any advice as to how to assure that it is…and how to finally get rid of the error message?

    Thx.

The plugin CAN work despite that error, but then it will keep no records of what has been optimized, and then you could easily re-optimize images accidentally.

I think the last person who had the issue ended up deleting the plugin folder altogether, and reinstalling from scratch. Let me know if that doesn’t do it.

    Hi,

I lost track of this but am back to it, and found that deleting and reinstalling did not do the trick. Any idea as to why it only happens for certain people? Any consistent resolution yet?

    Thx.

The only thing that would make sense to me is to deactivate the plugin, delete the ewww_image_optimizer_version record from the wp_options table, and then reactivate the plugin. The version number is what is supposed to trigger creation of the table (or updates to the structure).

Well, the above problem was on the DEV server, but it seems to be working without error on the live server. So I think I”m good. Thanks for your help!

ah, I wonder if the ewwwio_images table got skipped when doing a clone/copy from production to dev?
