WordPress database error Got a packet bigger than ‘max_allowed_packet’

Although the topic occurred with many posts from google search. I can also resolve it by increasing the database parameter “max_allowed_packet” size. However, I am still curious about what does this long statement do for wp-ses. And it seems gets longer every time being executed. I am afraid that one day the maximum value of “max_allowed_packet” will be touched. Can anyone explain this? Much appreciate.

The error occurs suddenly, I did not do any specific behaviors. I think that it grows and oversize the MySQL “max_allowed_packet”.
