WordPress Database error: error in SQL syntax

    Hi,

    On my website https://www.fotograafrogier.nl I get the following error:

    WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1]
    SELECT rating_username, rating_rating, rating_ip FROM rb_ratings WHERE rating_postid =

    I am not an experienced WordPress user. However, my blog was running fine. I am not sure when this error first occurred; in any case I first noticed it tonight after I switched theme. The site used to run fine; I’m pretty sure the connection to the MySQL server is good.

    I searched the forum and the docs and found nothing on this. Your help would be appreciated.

  • That must be caused by a plugin. Deactivate all plugins and reactivate one-by-one to find the culprit.

    Then provide a URL to that plugin and I’ll add a tag to this thread so the plugin author might respond.

    OK – thanks. It was indeed a Plugin: ‘Bad Behavior’. Turns out it needed to be updates – which I did – and now it works Appreciate the help. What made you realize it was a plugin? I ask so that I might recognize it myself next time…

    rb_ratings is not a native WordPress table — see Database Description.
