WordPress database error Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting

Where did you get/see those errors? On the Dashboard, error log, or where?

Have you tried reinstalling the Astra theme?

They are in the error log. Yes I’ve updated and having everything up-to-date on the sites.

Have you tried to deactivate all of the plugins installed on your site? Yes, the error log says astra. However, just in case the root of the cause is not Astra.

Also, do you know how to replicate this? Or do you remember the thing you did before noticing the error message?

Further, does the error cause any issues on your site? Features don’t work, broken layout, etc?

WP Astra + Astra Pro Addon – latest version.
I was not updating or changing anything yesterday.
However, there were problems, and many pages returned a 404 error. The worst thing was that this happened randomly, and after a few reloads, they loaded correctly again with code 200. After a few more reloads, it would return 404 again, then 200 again, and so on. I had to restore a backup to fix things from a few days back.
This happens on a site with a lot of traffic, which is highly unpleasant…
Has anyone with the same issues with 404 errors after a few reloads? 404 then 200, and so on random?

It would be helpful for all of us if you can start your own thread. This is why you should do it. You are welcome to cross-link your own thread with this one so we are all aware of this.

In the meantime, please try to temporarily switch the theme to the default Twenty theme series and see whether you have the same issue or not.
