• Hi, I run a website called
    https://www.poetsreadingthenews.com
and when you access the website on mobile
    the logo is broken!
(I know we have a net neutrality piece up right now but it has nothing to do with that, it was going on before)
    Also, suddenly,
I am seeing the code at the bottom of this pop up at random places throughout the website… And I showed it to a friend who is a software engineer and he says it has to do with wordpress itself, not my server… so, can you help me WordPress?? This site is well-trafficked and I need it to work ASAP since so many people are using it today especially with our new articles.

    THANK YOU!!!

  • Do you have access to cpanel?

    If yes, access PHPmyadmin
    backup the database
    try to repair the tables.

    Hi LuckyChingi!

OK I’ve backed up the database…

What does it mean to repair the tables? Do I have to go into the tables? Is there an automated way of fixing the tables?

    repairing the database table(s).

I went back into the C Panel and looked around. There was an option to “restore databases.” So I selected both databases for the site and clicked repair.

In the first one, about 25% of the tables read:
“The storage engine for the table doesn’t support repair”
In the second one, 100% of the tables read:
“The storage engine for the table doesn’t support repair”

Should this worry me? Is this normal?

Also, after clicking through those things and repairing the databases that
    *did* support repair…

    the logo still isn’t working…

So I wonder what it all means. Does anyone have insight?

And thanks to those that responded, I appreciate it.
