WordPress database down right now?

There may have been a temporary problem with www.remarpro.com (it’s being actively worked on) but the download link is working now. However, that will have had nothing to do with your site’s problems.

Can you tell me what I did to break my site, https://www.mv8r.com/wordpress/

and how I might fix it? I am not super technical, but more technical adept than average.

When it broke, I was updating some settings, like I entered a new e-mail address, but I did not get a chance to enter the new e-mail address SMTP settings.

Did you change the site url?

I think I figured out what broke it: I changed the settings from https://www.mv8r.com/wordpress to https://www.mv8r.com/

But how do I fix this?

Looks to me like you tried to change the site urls in Settings -> General. most of the urls in the pages are pointing to https://www.mv8r.com/ – not https://www.mv8r.com/wordpress/

Thank you. I am in the process of re-writing my whole site, and everything will eventually point to mv8r.com/ and not mv8r.com/wordpress, and I did not understand that I should wait until I move my wordpress page to my root directory before changing the settings.

When you are ready to “move” the site, you might find that this approach is a little easier than physically moving WordPress.
