WordPress database

  • In using the back up script, what exactly is it you are backing up? Is it all your posts you are backing up. So tecnically what you could do is back up/uninstall wordpress/reinstall wordpress/ put back all your posts…….is that correct?

  • Yep, except for any extra attachments, pictures, anything you uploaded etc are not stored in the database and will need to be restored seperately.
