My site won’t load wp-admin or wp-admin/index.php but will load the rest of the site and admin dashboard. Most of the time it gives a 500 error when I try to access wp-admin but I have also had it give a 504 once or twice.

I have tried changing theme and deactivating all the plugins but only WooCommerce seems to be effecting it.

Try putting this code in your functions.php file. It resolved the issue for me though it is just a bandaid fix.

The same thing is happening to mine. Everything loads except the dashboard and gives a 504 error at wp-login. Started happening after the update to 5.7.1. Also, my product categories are returning “page has moved.”

Is there a fix in the next version? It seems I’m not the only one with this problem.

That code has stopped the issue for now. Hopefully they will put out a proper fix soon though.
