After upgrading to PHP 8.0, I could no longer access weForms from the WordPress dashboard. Selecting weForms from the dashboard menu gives the error, “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” There is no email.

After disabling all plugins and reenabling them one at a time, I determined that weForms was the only plugin effected. Reverting back to PHP 7.4 fixed the issue. Luckily, PHP 7.4 is still actively supported through 28 N0v 2021.

    Hello @rhinosfan,

?Thank you for reaching out to support! We have a release candidate out and are actually planning on doing a release really soon for the PHP updates. 7.4 will work in the meantime until the update comes out. I appreciate the patience while we get this rolled out.

    Thanks
    Elana D.
