WordPress customizer not working on child theme

    Hi,

    Since today I am having some problems with my WordPress install.

    Actually the problem comes once I create a child theme and I setup the pages, post and categories. Suddennly I can’t use the wordpress customizer it don’t show the actual theme and when I come back to the site it shows up.

    I have installed more than once the application but it always endup with the same problem.

    I can’t see what is the issue here, and even that happens with an online website and it is the same with a local installation I have.

    It just happens with the child theme and not with the others.

    I’ve already searched online for a solution but nothing happens.

    I have no plugins installed, so, it shouldn’t be a possibility.

    The thing is, I am working on it, it is a project for a course and I need help.

    It just happens with the child theme and not with the others.

    That suggests some issue with your child theme.

    Any error message? If not, try Enabling debugging

    Thank you very much for your reply!

    I just solved it, it was the child theme folder name:
    “twentysixteen child” without hyphen, I’ve added it “twentysixteen-child” and now it’s working fine!
