WordPress crops my photos

    How do I upload photos without WordPress cropping the edges? I know I can put a border around the photo so when WordPress crops it I will get more of the photo. But what can I do to keep the photo from being cropped in the first place?

    Could the files possibly be too large?

    too large is normally the case and the theme will crop it so it doesn’t skew the layout.

    you can define your own width – test to see what the max is for your theme
