WordPress crop images and it show wrongly in lightbox

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m using Total Theme from Wpexplorer with Wpbakery.

    We need to show images in differents formats 2:1, 3:2, 1:2 and 2:3, vertical and landscape orientation.

    Wordpress is cutting off the images and then the Fancybox plugin is showing them wrongly in the Lightbox.

    It’s weird because I’ve created a lot of websites with this theme using the same plugins and this is the first time that happens.

    The client outo-edit the content. I installed Smush plugin to optimize the images. I’m suspecting that this plugin can be the culprit of the error but I’m not sure.

  • Can you elaborate on what exactly is wrong on the page you shared? Is it the way the images are randomly cropped?

    You may want to check if the plugins you are using have some setting on how they crop images that originally do not fit the proportions you want to show them on.

    I recommend asking any further questions on the support forum of the specific plugin.

    If you suspect it is happening due to Smush, you may momentarily deactivate it and try creating a post again. If needed re-upload the images.

    Hi Nagesh,

    First of all thank you for the response.

    I’ve deactivated and activated the Smush plugin several times.
    I’ve uploaded the 4 images of the shared test page changing their names everytime.

    The miniatures appear well, the different formats can be appreciated but when they are shown through the lightbox they are cutted off.

    I have looked at the code and they appear clipped. First option is 900×600 but it has to be 1500×1000 as I uploaded it.

    hello guys my website loading speed is become very slow and I am trying to increase it it’s not working properly however my website images are loading very slow and taking to much time to open. so please suggest me what should I do I have hosting from reseller club.

    SOLVED!

    The Total Theme has an option to set the dimensions of the images in its own the theme panel. I’ve never touch that, always working with the default set…

    The settings are 1500px x 9999px, 1500px as the maxium width.
