Maybe, but most likely not. There’s no current plans to port the database across to something other than MySQL as that’s all that’s currently supported.

Some of the queries used in WordPress and use a MySQL-only syntax (SQL isn’t SQL everywhere) so trying ot run a query with that on another platform will result in either errors or just break everything.
