• Hi!
I was wondering if someone could help me. My website is showing codes like:

    [sc:caja_completa ] [sc:caja_dos_tercios ]

    [sc:cierre_caja ] [sc:caja_un_tercio ]

And more. And the images and text are not all in the right place. I have no idea of what’s going on.

    This is the website: https://www.sandramalo.com

    Thank you!

  • First off, let us know what version of WordPress you are using.

Second, how did you get the image on the page? Did you use a plug in? Are you hard coding the image into the HTML of the page/post?

This looks like an error caused by a plug in writing too much code into the page but until I know more I can’t suggest anything.

This almost looks like schema code, a specialized type of coding used for aiding search engines to categorize content. Are you using a SEO plug in or any other SEO coding?

    Hi Brett!
Sorry for not saying this before, my version is 4.4.1 (I’ve been upgrading it when WordPress was sending notifications).
The website was done by a web design company but I have control of the site now and I can implement changes if I want to. So far, I haven’t made any changes myself or changed anything.
I’m afraid I cannot tell you how I got the image on the page because I’m not sure.

I think I inserted a code now that you mention SEO to see how many visits I had, but I never got it to work.

When you say “inserted a code” what exactly do you mean? Was it a plug in or did you go into the HTML (text tab) on the pages and add the code to the content of the site?

If the SEO was a plug in I suggest you deactivate the plug in and reload the page to see if the issue goes away.

It was a link from google analytics, sorry. I don’t know much about IT, sorry for confusing you ??

I’ll see if it works removing it.

It looks like short codes that once worked that no longer work. Did you change your theme or turn off any plugins? It kind of looks like shortcoder type short codes, but all shortcodes have that same appearance inside of [brackets]

Shortcodes can appear in the actual pages and posts, but they also can be used in php code inside of your templates. Good luck tracking this down.

Well, it doesn’t. Thanks for your suggestion, though!

Good point, forgot about the short codes. I usually don’t see so many of them so it didn’t click.

    Good advice.

    Hi Bob!

I didn’t change or turn off anything. This page was done by someone else but now I am the admin. I just updated the version as WordPress was sending me notifications, but nothing else.

I think you are right, it may be short codes that don’t work anymore. I’ll see what I can do.
