WordPress changing URL’s on me

I edited a webpage https://mysite.como/goods-for-sale-2 and after I hit save the page was changed to a different URL https://mysite.com/goods-for-sale-2-2/
What happened to my URL .goods-for-sale-2 ? Why did it change to .goods-for-sale-2-2/ ?
Now I’m having to go back and change all my links, does this happen often with WordPress?

I have no old content and my trash is empty.
I have only one other page that goes to a page 2 and I have had no problems with that one (yet.)
I don’t for see in the future me having to have a second page, but if I do from the link you sent me, I’ll check my plugins and database if it happens again.
