    Hello,

    Can someone tell me how WordFence Central connects to wordfence? It doesn’t connect ask for username and password and was surprising it just connected.

    Hey @cs3029,

    This is because you were already logged into the site as an admin. If you weren’t logged in as an admin you wouldn’t be able to connect Central to the site from the Central Dashboard without entering your site credentials.

    Hi,

    Thanks, I’m still not sure I understand how fully :), but I imagine it is through API or browser calls.

    Hey @cs3029,

    Yes, Central has an API which the Wordfence plugin communicates with. I originally thought you might have security concerns since it connected without needing credentials at that time.
