WordPress causing 2 sec delay in browser every 3-4 secs

    After logging in to my wordpress site hosted at IX, I begin having a 1-2 second delay every 3-4 seconds in everything I do. It is affecting what I type into this forum as I’m doing this.
    My plugins:

    AddToAny: Share/Bookmark/Email Button
    Extreme SEO
    Fast and Secure Contact Form
    Google Analyticator
    Google XML Sitemaps with qTranslate Support
    Keyword Statistics
    SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam
    WP-Optimize
    WP Google Analytics

    My browser:

    Firefox/3.6.3

    Any ideas what could be causing this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Found it! It was this plugin: Keyword Statistics.

    Too bad too because I really like it.

    To think I wasted the last 5 days thinking it was the autosave and revisions feature.
