I just received an error message from WordPress. I changed our site address in the messages below to xxx:

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Slimstat Analytics.

First, visit your website (https://xxx.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://xxx.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword&redirect_to=https://xxx.com/forums/reply/6894/?ld-resetpw=true) and check for any visible issues.

slimstat did not show anyone accessing that page. i accessed the page without any errors and my access did show up in slimstat.

have you seen this before and what caused this problem?

the following was also included in the email:

    Hi,

are you using the latest version of the plugin from the Github repo by any chance? Could you give me some more info about your server environment?

    Thank you,
    Jason

    Hi Jason,

    WordPress version 6.0
    Active theme: Astra (version 3.8.1)
Current plugin: Slimstat Analytics (version 4.9.0.1)
    PHP version 7.4.29

    Thanks

It looks like something went wrong during the installation and one of the core files is missing for some reason. Could you try reinstalling it (just overwrite all the files, no need to uninstall/install from the dashboard, or you might lose your data).

how do you want me to reinstall it?

also, is there a link to donate?

    Hi @soolee,

download and unzip the ZIP file to your desktop, and then upload it to your server using your favorite FTP client.

As for the donation link, you can use: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=KX8XQ3DL7UUA2
