WordPress built-in sitemap not working

    I understand Yoast SEO disables built-in WordPress sitemap functionality to prevent generation of multiple conflicting sitemaps. I now deactivated Yoast SEO plugin expecting the default sitemap to reappear, but this is not the case. How can I turn the WordPress standard sitemap back on?

    Thanks for reaching out about your sitemap. If you disable the Yoast SEO sitemap feature and the default WordPress sitemap doesn’t work, navigate to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks. Without making changes, save and recheck the sitemap.
