That’s hard to say, to be honest. The shortcode works for me on iOS 10.2.

iOS 6 is over 4 years old, so I wouldn’t put too much time into worrying about it.

Have you tested your site with more current iOS device?

    yes –

in Apple iPad 2 iOS 9 => does work
in apple iPhone iOS 6.1.6 => doesn’t work

yes, I know that iOS 6 is over, but i seen on another website on the same apple iPhone iOS 6.1.6 that the same shortocode does work there…

maybe I must edit this file: “wp-includes/media.php” ?

No, please never edit core files.

If you’re sure you see it working elsewhere under iOS 6.1.6, then it’s time to start figuring out what’s preventing it from working.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
