wordpress blog import option

  • I have a blog powered by WordPress and Buddypress at InCentervilleIowa.com (ICI).

    I’ve decided to not run Buddypress any longer and am currently playing with a new theme on a different domain name, doseproductions.com/test-projects, wordpess 3.0.2. (on shared server with ICI).

    My question is this –

    1) can I continue to build on the new theme and add desired posts from ICI

    2) do a clean install on the ICI domain and, install new theme and activate

    3) import the new site to include all pages, posts, content, etc? using the WordPress blog import option in admin tools?

    any guidance will be greatly appreciated!
