Hello, my WordPress Blog keeps getting the error that states thus:

You have reached entry processes (number of simultaneously running php and cgi scripts, as well as cron jobs and shell sessions).

Your site might hit resource limits soon

Your CPU usage was at 97% out of 100%

Of course, that’s courtesy of my hosting account but no valid help has been rendered and it seem to be the same with every shared hosting company i moved to.

I am curious, this affects traffic right? If yes, please how do i fix this?

Do you have any stats on usage? Are you getting hammered or do you have a crappy host (or both)?

I use Awstats courtesy of the hosting account. But on the other side, i use Analytics.

Crappy host? I am not sure. This is because i am using one of the most sort after hosting company. I have also used other well talked about hosting company and it seem to be the same.

Doing a resource, i realized the wpcron could be responsible for this. Especially when getting high number of visits daily. How true is this?

It depends whether you have a lot of cron tasks.

But you didn’t answer: Are there traffic spikes or consistently high levels of traffic?

Depends on your definition for ‘High traffic’. But i consider the traffic to be quite high and No, it isn’t exactly a traffic Spike. It’s a consistent level.
