  • I am looking for a way to make IFTTT work on my WordPress blog: hog wine.com/blog

    I am wondering if IFTTT Bridge would help..?

    The error message I keep getting when I try to activate on IFTTT is:

    “?Live channel fields value is not a valid WordPress url
    ?Unable to verify WordPress credentials. Please try again.

    BLOG URL is not a valid WordPress url
    hogwine.com/blog “

    Is there away to just inset code onto the blog page? I really have no idea what I’m talking about… But just wanted to see if you had any suggestions?

    Hi!

    If the whole site hogwine.com is running in WordPress the correct url may be just hogwine.com.

    IFTTT Bridge may be a good solution in your case. But the bridge just brings the IFTTT data into WordPress as a WordPress action. To get the IFTTT data “alive” you have to hook into this action and do something with the IFTTT data. Usually you do this with a custom plugin which you have to develop.
