• Hi there

I have wordpress installed on my shared hosting.
I also have an email marketing software setup on a different directory on the same hosting.

When I try to log into the email marketing software WordPress seems to block access to the directory and comes up with a “The page you requested could not be found” page in my WordPress template.

    Help would be appreciated.

  • You are going to have move the email marketing software folder outside of the WordPress directory. Based upon the details given it seems as though you have installed the email software inside of the WordPress directory.

    Example…

    Main Folder
    -WordPress Folder
    –Email Marketing Folder

    How it should look…

    Main Folder
    -WordPress Folder
    -Email Marketing Folder

    Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks JarretC but my folders are like you say?
    public_html -Email Marketing Folder
    -wp-admin
    -wp-content
    -wp-includes
    -index.php

Is there something else I am missing in this?
Could it be something i may have ticked in the settings?
Have been right through them and not seen anything.

By your description the folder setup is still wrong.

    It should look like

    -Email Marketing Folder
    -wordpress
    –wp-admin
    –wp-content
    –wp-includes

The email marketing folder needs to be completely outside of the folder that contains any and all of the WordPress files.
