WordPress being set as homepage is causing IE freeze

  • Greetings all,

    I have a strange issue. My school’s site at https://www.nelhs.org is loading fine in IE; however, if you set the site to load as the browser’s homepage it causes the browser to freeze. I’m no expert and depend on well explained instructions to fix anything. Anyone else experience this issue or have a possible cause or solution.

  • just tested in IE and FF, seems to work fine from here. it’s probably a problem with your PC/browser. what version IE ?

    I’ve tried it on a few different computers – all with the same result. It loads fine in IE, but not when it is set as the homepage. When it is, it freezes on startup.

    It is v. 6.0.290… sp2
