WordPress Backup to Dropbox

  • I′ve had issues with WPB2D plugin before, and now they′re back.

    I′ve reinstalled the plugin, and now getting the following error:

    Error

    There was a fatal error loading WordPress Backup to Dropbox. Please fix the problems listed and reload the page.

    If the problem persists please re-install WordPress Backup to Dropbox.

    Error message: WordPress Backup to Dropbox requires write access to ‘/home/mortensb/public_html/wp-content/backups’, please ensure it exists and has write permissions.

    When setting permission to 7-7-7 it works, but putting it back to 7-5-5 or 7-6-6 it does not work again. I′ve also had problems installing the premium extensions, probably due to permissions, is there anyone that can help me out with this?

  • I was having issues as well. I went into my FTP and renamed my backups folder to backups_old and then just let the plugin create a new one after authorizing Dropbox again. So far no issues and everything is ok.
