WordPress automatically creating link to page

    I am experiencing a issue where every time I write the word video in a post, WordPress is automatically turn the word into a link to our Video page.

    I have tried to search for anyone else experiencing this issue but haven’t had much luck. Any ideas why this could be happening?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

    Thank you…I will try both of those suggestions. We are aware of the update and have an update scheduled shortly. We run a student produced news site which is in production full time and are waiting for a down time to run the updates and ensure it works with the many plugins we are running.
