WordPress Automatic Upgrade

  • Hi y’all I’m having problems with the waup plugin. First it says; Seems you have not completed the clean up process from last upgrade ..When I try to automaticly upgrade my blog it stops halfway and says: could not upgrade your files

    Altough it wont works for me to upgrade automaticly when I do it manualy it says it’s already up to date, no need to upgrade.

    It’s all strange because my blog is just new and I guess I downloaded the 2.5.1

    But in my dash is always a notice that says wp 2.5.1 is available, update now.

    Any help or thoughts are much appreciated!

  • Avoiding your question about the automatic upgrade (I’ve never tried), the “upgraded but dashboard thinks not” problem was quite frequent when 2.5 was just out. Have a look at some of these threads.
