    Hi,

Wordpress automatic check sent an email saying that there is a problem with Yoast Duplicate Post: fatal error in the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php file
I do not notice any malfunction on the site
For information, I updated the site from PHP 7.2 to 7.4 yesterday
Could you tell me how to fix the problem since there is no update available

    Thank you for your reply

    Nathalie

    Hi @spiwee

We understand that you received an email from WordPress that there was a fatal error reported for the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin.

Sometimes, this happens when the plugin files are cached and some old files are still used after updating the plugin or when the plugin update couldn’t complete due to a server or connection hiccup. As a result of that, it causes missing files in the relevant plugin, so you are emailed about an error.

On occasions, this causes temporary errors that resolve themselves once the cache has been cleared. If the problem doesn’t resolve for you automatically, can you please try clearing the cache from your theme, plugin, server, and CDN.

Are you able to access your website and are there no visible error messages that appear either in the frontend or in the WordPress admin dashboard? Could you also check if your Yoast Duplicate Post plugin is on the latest version v4.1.2? If so, we wouldn’t be too concerned about it. However, if there are any error messages, please do let us know.

    Hello

Thank you very much for your reply

I have no visible errors in WordPress dashboard or on the site
    The extension is in 4.1.2
    So, I purged the cache.
I think there is no need to do anything else
    Thanks again

    Best regards

    Nathalie
