WordPress as index?

  • I’ve got wordpress installed at its default location for now. But i’m wanting to move it to be the landing page of the website. How would I do this? I don’t really want to run the entire website through wordpress really… At least not unless I can get the URL how I’d like it.

    Basically, i’m trying to achieve “thiswebsite.com/” as the page for the blog. (index page.) I wouldn’t mind using wordpress as a CMS if I could have that form of URL, but everything as “thiswebsite.com/wordpress/page.php” would annoy me.

    Any help? D:
