    Hi,
I have an idea, why not make wordpress with web control panel features so it wont depend on other paid control panels… You`ll get more users who use wordpress since it will be easy to install and use… ?? just a thought ??

  • What do you mean by web control panel?

If you install wordpress on your server by itself you have a lot of work configuring it… but if it would be a version like a hosting web control panel “plesk, cpanel” that would install all the components automaticaly it will be way faster to install wordpress and i guess many beginners would like this as well…

Well many beginers do not have self managed servers. So its likely thirs come with Cpanel or some other homebrew. Including such software with blog platform would be massive overkill.

at least they can make an auto-installer for all the components needed by wordpress… cause i killed my brain until i got it up and running with no control panel.. ??

Many hosts do offer 1-click WordPress installations.

    xaocel,

Take a look at Softaculous. It is perhaps close to what you are looking for.
