WordPress as a CMS – Content Structure
-
Hi there, I love wordpress and have used it for a few projects but never for something like this.
I’m trying to setup a travel site that outlines a few cities. I visualize the menu/navigation like this.
CITY GUIDE (Menu title)
CityA (1 page overview)
-Beaches (1 page overview)
-Hotels (1 page overview)
-Nightlife (1 page overview)CityB (1 page overview)
-Beaches (1 page overview)
-Hotels (1 page overview)
-Nightlife (1 page overview)Then… A seperate menu:
MORE ABOUT (Menu title)
-Beaches (A page overviewing beaches in general, with a list of links to the pages on beaches for each specific city)
-Hotels
-NightlifeSo, do pages make sense in this case? If so, for the MORE ABOUT pages, how can I automatically add a links to my city specific beach articles such as Beaches in Florida, Beaches in California… etc…
I’ve been going back and forth between Drupal and WordPress, but I personally love the feel of WordPress over anything I’ve used before.
A little push in the right way would be appreciated! ??
