also i tried using jet pack but gave me an error saying the site is not publicly accessible. And wordpress just gave me 500 internal server error

That’s a host problem. Looks like GoDaddy; you need to ask them.

wait the slow wordpress and site is a godaddy issue? or the 500 internal error with the jetpack?

can someone help this site is huge for us and I need it up by tomorrow. desperately seeking assistance.

Songdogtech is probably right: you need to get busy with GoDaddy. Server issues belong to them.

is the server issue the key thing to fixing everything?

By the way, I’ve been in your situation and I know how maddening it can be. Sometimes runs fine, sometimes unbelievably slow. I dumped my webhost for another one and problem immediately solved.

One thing you can have them try is moving your account to another server. It’s possible it could help.

thanks guys sorry so new to this and i have a lot on the line. I am trying to get all the passwords and stuff to give them a call. If this server issue gets fixed it should fix our site correct? Do you think we would need more server space?

    (@dsterlin)

ok server error fixed site still a lil slow but what about this error in wordpress is this a godaddy issue as well ?

Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed Operation timed out after 15001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received]

The space issue depends on what you have loaded up there, but I doubt that is the problem if your stats don’t show you maxxed out on your allotment. The more likely culprit is that you’re on a shared server with the rest of the horde, and fighting for processing time. If they can’t get you better performance on that server, see if they’ll move it to another.

In the meantime, follow Songdogtech’s link for better host recommendations.

do you know what is the cause of the

jetpack error is the godaddy as well?

hell yeah they had us on some legacy server shit. they are moving us woo. But this other error they say is with the plugin not them. What do you all think?

I don’t know about the error, but if I had to guess:
http_request_failed Operation timed out after 15001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received] — just sounds like the response took too long because of the server problem. Hope so.
