WordPress and plugin’s are not updatable

  • I can’t update wordpress and plugin from admin and it’s shows error.

    Error when try to update wordpress : Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_doing_cron() in /home/alaprope/public_html/ar/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 110

    The plugin also unable to update.

    When i try to update pluign it’s loading long time not updating.

  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the root wp-config.php & .htaccess files and the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress 4.8.1. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folders before uploading the new ones.

    Is this causing of WordPress file issue or server issue ?

    Impossible to say until you carry out some basic troubleshooting steps – such as reloading all core scripts (as suggested above) to rule out file corruption.

    I have the same problem. But on the hosting I am not able to access the site via ftp, so how can I solve this issue?
