    Is it possible to link WP and PHPBB so I can use the same memeber passwords and guests don’t have to sign in to each one seperatley? Don’t know if there is a plugin available for this or???

    Any Advice?

    Hi there scubadollar,

    I’ve used a plugin in the past to link phpbb and wordpress and to display latest forum entries on my site. You can find the plugin at

    Look for the wp_phpbb plugin. The reason I’m providing it as a download at my site is because I had such a hard time finding it myself.

    Also – when using this you may want to refer to a post I did regarding the addition of an ‘attach mod’ to phpbb which enables file uploading/downloading at https://www.avalon5.com/index.php/web-development/attach-mod-v245-for-phpbb2/

    do you have a working example anywhere?

    I removed the functionality from my site in the last ‘update’ round, changed the theme and layout and didn’t want the linkage to the forum anymore. Sorry.

    But – the plugin does work, or at least it worked fine for me when I did have it installed.
