• I’m wanting to customise my WordPress to allow people to sign-up (or pay for membership) and pay for postings.

    But the thing is, I really don’t know where/how to get started in terms of integrating WordPress with Paypal/GoogleCheckout.

    Questions;

    1) How do you integrate WP with PP/GC?

    2) Are there any running website examples of WordPress websites that integrate Paypal (PP) / GoogleCheckout (GC) around? Even if the website no longer looks like a blog, I’d be interested.

    3) What plug-in is best for PP/GC?

    4) Is there a different approach to paying for memberships as to paying for posts?

    5) Lets say that a user wants to pay for membership/post. How do you verify that they’ve paid BEFORE they start posting? Or is it a simply a case of putting it in a queue and waiting for confirmation of payment?

    Thanks.

  • There’s a plugin that does this.
    https://www.wpbankroll.com/

    There might be others, just google for wordpress plugin paid content and you should get some hits. Be careful that the plugin isn’t so old that it’s no longer being actively developed or kept current with later versions of WP. ??

    Thanks a lot Jonimeuller. The whole idea of integrating WP with GC or Paypal is something I’m eagerily wanting to learn more about and I’m sure your link will give me some ideas on how to pursuit it.

    Thanks.
