wordpress and MariaDB version 10.0.13

  • hello there,

    currently in the process of setting up another openSUSE 13.2 development box …

    it ships with MariaDB version 10.0.13
    does wordpress run fine with this version?
    is there any experience, yet?

    or should i just stick with the ‘standard’ mysql-community-server 5.6.17?

    i also heard that even SUSE and lots of others started switching from mysql to mariaDB.

    any thoughts on that topic would be awesome ??
