WordPress amends not showing in browsers

At some point today, I could no longer view changes in WordPress in my browsers, FF or Chrome. They are saved in WP but do not show up at all or properly in my browsers.

Initially I thought that being whitelisted for timthumb by my hosting service Hostgator may have caused this, but after reverting and ‘un-whitelisting’ the script, the problem still exists.

Please help as I’ve already missed my deadline due to this problem and I’d like to get it resolved asap.
