• Hi,
I was moving some of my WordPress sites to a new server, it works fine but when I try to enter the admin page of one of the sites, I see it is still goes to the old server while the main site IP is refer to the new server.
    How could this be?

    Thanks alot!!

I think you need to edit your blog URL using PHPMyadmin. The old URL is still stored in the database. Look for the wp_options table.

    Hi,
I am using the same URLS, all I changed is the host. The strange that when I entered the admin page yesterday from my home PC, it worked fine and linked to the new admin pages.
    What do you think?

    Thanks alot!!

    Hi,

did change your nameserver to move your domain or change the
    domains pointer.

In the first case give it at least 48h because the udpate
process of the DNS Server arround the world could last some days.

So your problem should be gone in a day or two.

I changed the nameserver and I already saw that the URL is pointing to the new host, I was able to edit it from home yesterday when the URL is updated with the new host

    Thanks alot!!
