    It’s working here ??

    https://www.gameswifi.com and https://www.gameswifi.com/wp-admin

Try Ctrl+F5 (PC) or Command+R (Mac) to do a hard refresh.

It worked 20 minutes ago. Now I’m getting a GoDaddy default page with option to login to cPanel.

Try the default Twenty Thirteen theme. If that works it’s most likely a theme issue.

…while updating post in wordpress,3.7.1 and now i uninstalled it

Did you install WordPress yet? If your are using GoDaddy just use the one click install and make sure everything works before installing your new theme.

Themes can be found by going to Appearance > Themes in your WordPress admin panel.

while updating post in wordpress,3,7,1 and suddently wordpress stopped working and i lost admin panel saying webpage not available, and now i uninstalled the wordpress from applications panel in godaddy cpanel. i dint say that i uninstalled theme, how could i uninstall theme while i cant access wp login :-p and i dont know how to change or uninstall or restore default theme from cpanel

so the issue is i can;t login to wp as this error is still there” This webpage is not available”

If you uninstalled WordPress then you already un-installed everything. WordPress is completely separate from cPanel. cPanel is for domain and server administration.

You should now re-install WordPress ??

i reinstalled wordpress, even tried different versions of wordpress but the result is same, can’t access wp login page nor my domain same error webpage not available

https://www.gameswifi.com/wp-admin works for me right now ??

and i know that wp is separate from cpanel, but as i learned from different topics in wp forums i think i need to restore default theme from cpanel ( which i dont knw how to do ) because files of ribbon theme are still there somewhere in cpanel which are stopping newly installed wp to get me in to its login page

but not working for me, even iam now on my other pc with new browsers..

    (@keithdriscoll)

No. There is nothing more to do in cPanel unless you are doing server administration. Can you login at https://www.gameswifi.com/wp-admin ?

You now need to delete ‘index.html’ from your root folder using FTP or cPanel’s file browser. Be careful NOT to delete index.php or anything else. This is preventing your site from loading.

Right now, https://www.gameswifi.com/index.php will bring up your site.

When i clicked File manager in my cpanel i found these three directories
    1-Home Directory
    2-Web Root (public_html/www)
    3-Public FTP Root (public_ftp)

i thought i have to click the 2nd one Web Root ”(public_html/www)” but there i found no ”index.html” but i found these files

    cgi-bin
    wp-admin
    wp-content
    wp-includes
    404.shtml
    error_log
    home_html
    index.php
    layout styles.css
    licence txt
    wp-activate.php
    wp-blogger-header.php
and wp settings wp signup and etc etc huh….

you could delete home.html. That is the page you are seeing.

So what do i do now?? which file is going to be deleted or renamed,so that my newly installed wp login works properly.????
