• I’m trying to login to my admin page for my new website but it doesn’t seem to exist? When I use the admin link I just end up at a page that says “No data received”. I can’t seem to make my website like this? I’m extremely confused, please help.

I bought a domain name and I have a host, and I installed WordPress through the host Lithium Hosting. It’s all installed, but I can’t access any of it.

Nothing is working I have been trying to make a website since early yesterday evening and every step has had a number of increasingly complicated and nonsensical roadblocks please help

  • Hey Spiralghost,

    1. Please share the URL for us to give you better support.

    2. normally you can access the admin area like this: https://domain.com/wp-login.php or https://domain.com/wp-admin/

    Regards,

Those admin links didn’t work, sadly. (I switched the domain name out, did I need to switch “wp-login” for something?)

I can’t access the site, I’m getting a parked page from namecheap.
Probably, that’s the reason why its not workign for you.

What is the reason? I can’t build the site because I can’t access the admin page.

It seems you’ve not pointed the domain name to lithiumhosting yet. In order to do that you’ll have to change the nameservers in Namecheap.com to lithium hosting’s nameservers.

This link should help you: https://lithiumhosting.com/billing/knowledgebase/131/Updating-Your-DNS-at-NameCheapcom.html

Okay, I changed the nameservers to “ns1.mylhns.net” and “ns2.mylhns.net”, and now when I access the admin version of the site I still get a blank white page that now says: “This webpage is not avaliable, DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”. When I go to the regular version, it says: “This webpage is not available, ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED”.

Does this mean I just need to wait for the connection to load up, or is this another problem?

Okay, so the site was working earlier today, at around 2 PM. I was so relieved that I basically spent the day celebrating. I just checked again a couple of minutes ago (about 11 PM) and the site is gone again, back to the site not being available again???

@spiralghost: When I access the site it says that account is operational.
it seems your site wasn’t installed on it yet. however, dns has resolved properly for sure. Normally it takes about 24 hours – 72 hours for dns to propagate.
