WordPress Admin Login – Redirect or Change

Hi,

GOAL: We’re trying to redirect our old admin login URL to a new admin login URL. How do we do this across the entire website and all old links associated?

CONTEXT: We’ve used a plugin called WP Hide Login. However, this only affects the single login URL and no other old links elsewhere in emails, etc. We use a Woocommerce email customizer (Kadence Email Customizer plugin) that uses link that still somehow contain a string to the old php root.

RESULT (Incorrect): Therefore, we still get a 404 page when trying to access the new admin URL from an email that includes old links like . What can we do about this and what are the considerations of doing this temporarily or permanently, how to do so, and will this be affected if our WordPress version updates?

EXAMPLE: New URL with old post.php causing 404 https://domain.com/new-adminl/post.php?post=17307&action=edit.
