I have 2 versions of a MultiSite, each has a different domain and host. On one site only, the WordPress Admin login directs to a different site once you press “login” – within the Admin I stay in the correct site using the site menus.

How do I correct which site the WordPress Admin login page directs to?

Repeated with details: (I had attempted to change the domain in one, the now problem, site. I decided to change it back and create a different version of the same site with a different domain and host. I can easily access the Admin area once I am logged in by using the admin menus of the site. But the WordPress Admin login page itself directs to the other domain, after you press login button.)

    Thank you

  • Are they using any code linked to each other?

Update:something has updated or changed today. Everything, all admin, including mysite.com/cpanel goes to the wrong host cpanel and site.

    Hi, thanks for responding.

Are they using any code linked to each other?
Yes I guess they are because they are duplicates from the same site. The duplicates are each on separate hosts and should have different domains.

Update: I discovered that the domain change may be incomplete for the problem site – the site that has the Admin login to the other site.

I am asking my host to fix that today. I have no clue how.

(I had improperly used a plugin to initiate the domain change – I do not know how to reverse it.) I will post an update soon.

Try looking in your ‘wp-config.php’ file and look in your MySQL database and change all domain information to the correct information.
